What is a service lift / carlift?
Service lifts are lifting equipment used to transport all types of cargo from one height to another. They are usually installed in professional environments with high volumes of work, as they help optimize processes and quicken the pace in numerous work activities.
They can be classified into two large groups, depending on the motor or engine used to drive their work: electric and combustion, respectively.
- Electrical service lift. These have large batteries composed of acid and lead. They consume little fuel, and their maintenance does not have to be carried out by specialized mechanics. They can be installed in all types of covered spaces and pose no risk to operators.
- Combustion engine service lifts. As the name implies, these lifts contain engines that burn biodiesel or petrol and convert it into work energy. Their most practical feature is that they can be quickly refueled and used immediately, that is, you do not have to wait before re-using them.
